National University Honours Admission 2020 Probable Date

Based on the earlier available data, it can be said that the online application usually starts from June 8 and continues till June 22 or any date near that. But due to the current pandemic situation, it can be changed and we will let you know immediately if it does.

NU Honours Admission Requirements

To apply for NU Honours a student should clear their SSC and HSC or similar exam between 2018-2019 and 2019-2020 respectively with a CGPA of 2.50 at least without the 4th subject. In addition, an applicant must have a combined GPA of 3.00 in SSC and 2.50 in HSC with the 4th subject. Besides, the age limit for NU Honours application is 22 years. This means anyone older than 22 years is not eligible to apply.

National University Online Admission Process and Marks Distribution

Based on students’ merit lists from different colleges and their preference the subject of honours 1st year will be selected. If two or more students with the same position on the merit list chooses the same subject, 40% of SSC and 60% of their HSC numbers will be considered without the 4th subject to determine the best candidate. However, if it doesn’t resolve the issue the younger candidate will be selected ahead of others.

Press the Apply Now (Honours Option)
Now you will get a blank form for a fill-up.
Applicant input his/her Roll Number of Secondary and Higher Secondary must be entered correctly in grades/universities and passes.
After input your information you will get the main form for admission.
In this form, you have to fill up all the necessary information.
After you complete your admission form fills up you will get an applicant copy.
Save this copy for further use

Every applicant has to visit the NU website in order to fulfil their admission form with required personal information about their gender, SSC/HSC or similar exam’s roll and registration number, board name etc. Then they have to scan and submit their jpg. The picture with 120*150 pixels, and a maximum size of 50 kb.

After submitting the required information and the picture the application form will be presented by the website with the applicant’s role and pin number which every applicant has to print out in an offset paper.

NU Honours Admission 2020-21 Fees

At a primary level, the application form cost 250 tk. From which National University receives 150 tk and the rest goes to the respective college. To complete the registration process it will cost every student 450 tk and it can lead to 485 tk with BNCC, Scout, Sports and Cultural fees. But if someone wants to cancel their admission it will cost them 700 tk and 700 tk again if they want to get readmit in National University Honours.
