Masum is one of my best friends. I have had a lot of opportunities to be very close to him. I have always been pleased with many excellent qualities of his personality. To me, he is a heroic character. He is true to his determination and responsibilities all the time. He is intelligent and sincere in what he does and thinks. He is honest and courageous. I like him for all these qualities. I think he is a man of integrity and this is special with him.

I think I share some qualities with him as a close friend. His honesty and simplicity seem to be very much like mine. But there is one negative quality in him. He is to some extent prone to anger. My Best Friend Good friends are very rare in these fast-changing days. Old values have gone and new ones have not yet come. Still, one must have friends whom one can trust. I am lucky to have a number of friends. Among them, Masum is my best friend. He is my next-door neighbor also. We read in the same class and we sit on the same bench. We go to school together. We talk and spend a lot of time together. We also sit together to do our homework.

I am not so good at my studies. So, he helps me in doing my homework. He explains to me the solution of difficult sums which I cannot follow in the class. He is one of the best students in our class. He understands things quickly. He is bright and active. He is very punctual. He is obedient and respectful. He is soft-spoken. He is not a bookworm. He reads extra books and is not confined to his textbooks. He takes interest in current affairs and often discusses with me important issues of the day. His approach is direct but impartial.

He is tolerant, broadminded, and cooperative. He believes in high character and discipline. He respects all his teachers, parents, and elders. He is also very particular about his health. He gets up early in the morning and goes out for a walk. He takes light exercise regularly. He never tells a lie. He believes in simple living and high thinking. He is very particular about cleanliness. He stands by me through thick and thin. He never deserts me in time of need. He is ready to make any sacrifice for me. I am really proud of him.
