Recently announced the admission schedule for the 2021-22 session. BUET admission online application will start from 15th April 2022 and it will continue to 24th April 2022. Important Dates for BUET Admission 2021-22
Last year the eligible candidates’ names for exams were published on 18th September and the Admission exam held on 5th October from 9 pm onwards. Later the authority published the results and the waiting list of candidates on 26th October 2022. But this year it may change because of the COVID-19 global pandemic.
Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology Admission Requirements
Interested candidates must be passed their SSC or similar exam in 2017 with a minimum CGPA of 4.00 out of 5.00. And they have to be passed an HSC or similar exam in 2019 with a CGPA of 4.00 out of 5.00. But applicants must have CGPA 5.00 in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry, and CGPA 4.00 in Bangla and English in both SSC and HSC or equivalent exams in order to be eligible.
Foreign students must have equivalent CGPA in equivalent exams and at least 12 years of education from recognized institutions. English medium students must be passed ‘O’ level with ‘B’ grade in 5 papers and ‘A’ level in 2012 with ‘A’ grade in at least 2 papers and ‘B’ grade in other papers. Last year BUET offered 1030 seats for admission.
BUET Admission Application Process
Interested applicants are requested to visit the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology’s website www.buet.ac.bd in order to apply. All the information and instruction regarding admission will be provided on this website. After submitting the online form as per instruction the applicant will be provided an Application Serial Number. By using that candidates have to pay the fee via SMS from any pre-paid Teletalk number or through Bkash, Rocket mobile banking.
The fee is between 900-1100 varies based on the subject. The last online form fill up and fee submission started from 15th April 2022 at 10 am and the process ended on the 24th of September at 4:30 pm. Due to coronavirus, it may delay this year.

- Upload Your Photo & Signature [Photo Should be 300 x 300 & Signature 300 x 80 Pixel]

Fees Payment SMS Process
Candidates can pay their exam fee via SMS from any mobile number by following this process.
SMS Format: BUET<space> Application Number (6 digit Application Number of the Applicants). Example: BUET< space >1234568 send it to 16222 numbers.
