The situation of Population: Bangladesh is a small country with a large population. It is one of the biggest problems for us. It is burdened with about 160 million people. Then some 360 new children are born every day in this small country. One thousand and fifteen people live per square kilometer. This situation is really alarming. Now Bangladesh is a densely populated country.

Disadvantage: This large Population Problem all kinds of developments and progress. It creates many types of problems, like shortage of food, houses, clothing, education, and medical facilities, etc. Moreover, the hungry and weak children cannot turn into skilled manpower. They become a menace to the country. A lot of foreign currency is to spend to import food for the hungry population. For these, all kinds of developing programs suffer much.

Solution: To check the rapid growth of the population some measures can be taken. Firstly, the high birth rate of the population has to be checked through family planning. It is the main effective solution to the problem.

Secondly, we have to make the campaign to educated mass people. It will help them to understand the value of family planning and the problem of overpopulation. Thirdly, early marriage has to be stopped by government law. People have to be aware of this. Lastly, various encouraging programs should be taken to make the people eager to stop the high growth rate of the population.
